Westlake is a small yet wonderful town that has really begun growing in the last few years. Westlake abounds with much natural beauty. Westlake is located 20 minutes (depending on traffic) north of the Dallas airport and is part of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Located in the Northeast portion of Tarrant County, Westlake has not changed much since its inception in 1956.
With just under 2000 people, the affluent town of Westlake is the most affluent area in Texas with a median home price of $3.7 million as of 2022. Westlake has master planned residential communities, world-class commercial developments, and beautiful nature and surrounding areas. Westlake is also home to Westlake Academy which was ranked the #1 Charter school and #3 Public Schools in Texas as of 2022. Westlake Academy is also an International Baccalaureate school. Named by Forbes as the most affluent county in 2011, Westlake is an exemplary, knowledge focused community.
Westlake would not be Westlake without its world famous Vaquero Club. Although a private club for members only, it now has national prestige and notoriety that is recognized worldwide.
