Grapevine
Grapevine is the oldest settlement in Tarrant County and was established in 1844 one year before Texas was annexed by the United States. Grapevine has a rich history with both 19th and 20th century buildings. Grapevine had a population of about 51,000 people as of 2021. Grapevine has a wonderful Main Street area with dining, galleries, and shops. The location of Grapevine is just minutes from the DFW airport. Most of Grapevine is located in the East portion of Tarrant County. The median home price in Grapevine was about $540,000 in 2022 which makes it one of the more affordable Tarrant County townships.
Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District follows just behind the Carrol ISD in Southlake and is the #2 best school district in Tarrant County. Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District has approximately 14,000 students and is ranked the 8th best school district in Texas.
